5:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Reception (Cash bar in the Atlantic Ballroom) 
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm: Three course dinner and Speaker's Presentation (Common Wealth Ball Room)

***Parking is complimentary and available in the back hotel parking lot. Collect your ticket when you enter the lot, the gate will be open as you depart.

About our speakers...

Operating out of Prince Edward Island, Murphy Hospitality Group first came to fruition in 1980 from the hands of Kevin and Kathy Murphy. From the early beginnings, MHG was based on these basic principles - friendly & knowledgeable staff, great food and beer, clean and comfortable locations and providing an extraordinary experience. 40 years later, they still stand by this. When Kevin and Kathy Murphy opened their first restaurant in 1980, they ran the restaurant, were the hosts, the dishwashers and worked all aspects of the business. They have grown immensely since then, now owning and operating 16 restaurants, 2 hotels, the PEI brewing company and a catering division all across the Atlantic provinces. That came with a lot of hard work, great people, and a little bit of luck along the way. Murphy Hospitality Group has always been a family run business. Kevin, Kathy and their three sons, Ben, Sam and Isaac, are all integral parts of the company. If you visit any of their restaurants or breweries, you may see one of them running around, getting acquainted with their staff and guests. Although some things have changed over the years, their principles remain the same.

History of the Peter Wilson Dinner...

The late Peter Wilson, Wilson Fuel Company Ltd., was one of the principal founders of Family Business Atlantic and is remembered and honored annually at our signature event for all he gave toward the development of family business in our region. The Peter Wilson Dinner is a key event for FBA, drawing together hundreds of entrepreneurs from our business community, colleagues and friends of the late Peter Wilson for an evening that salutes and celebrates families in business.
